Our Story
In 2016 I met Tawny at a daycare I used to work at and instantly grew a bond and attachment with her. She was being fostered by a family at the time, Became close with the foster parents (Tawny has 2 biological siblings) I would help babysit or just hangout with them , There were times Tawny would come to my house and spend the weekend with me. In June 2017 Tawny and her siblings were adopted . February of 2018 I took Tawny for a couple weeks, Unfortunately at the time there was no paperwork that said I could make medical decisions for her so I needed the adopted parents to take her into the Dr because she got sick. Tawny never came back (Miscommunication) Fast forward to June 2018 , I took in Tawny completely, At first I had power of attorney but knew I needed more so In 2019 we were granted legal guardianship. Since 2018 she has been in our care and we have done everything for her. Due to everything Tawny has been through at a very very young age , she has endured some mental health issues. We have done everything possible to get her the help she needs. We absolutely love Tawny and want nothing but the absolute best for her. ❤️ We are in the process of getting all the information we need in order to adopt her. Because she is adopted by another family we aren’t sure the route we would have take, but it’s going to happen ❤️❤️🩹 We will always be Tawny’s #1 fans and support her through whatever battles she faces
To adopt a child is a great work of love. When it is done, much is given, but much is also received. It is a true exchange of gifts
